Chris Upton

Chris Upton is an award winning photographer from Southwell, Nottinghamshire.

He is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and was Highly Commended in the 2007 Wanderlust Travel Photographer of the Year competition. In 2008, and again in 2010, Chris was commissioned to photograph in Thailand on behalf of the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Chris exhibited at the highly successful Masters of Vision Exhibition of Photography at Southwell Minster in 2009. He has also held two solo exhibitions and lectures widely. He is represented by several stock image libraries and his work has been featured in many magazines and books.

"Photography has long been a keen interest but over the past few years it has become a passion. Whilst I have had success in many areas of photography it is really Landscape and Travel that inspires me the most.

I photograph throughout the UK but have also visited some great locations around the world. The opportunity to visit magical places, meet the people and observe their culture has been a wonderful experience. My goal is always to capture some of that that feeling in my images".
